Do you have a photo of a wild bird that you would love to see embroidered? Let’s chat!

You will need to be able to provide me with up to three high resolution images. Together, we’ll pick the best one. Once the perfect photo is selected, it can take up to 6 weeks to finish your custom piece.

Something to keep in mind: this will not be a scientific portrait of the bird; it will be an artistic representation of the bird. Please take a good look at the other projects on this site so that you have a clear idea as to my style of embroidery before ordering a custom piece. Once a photo is printed and stitching begun, there will not be any refunds.

After we choose a photo, I will have it printed on a lovely fabric that has a nice sheen to it. Please understand that the printing process is such that exact colour matches can not be attained.

Once the photo is printed, I’ll find the perfect colours of DMC floss for the bird and then I will stitch it up for you!

Finally, I will frame it. Please understand that my frames are simple, basic frames. If you want something else, I’m happy to send you the embroidered piece to frame on your own.

The frames I use are 12 5/8″ x 12 5/8″ and 1″ thick. The Bird Stitch is inset in the frame by 3/4″ and not covered by glass so you can see the stitching clearly. The actual Bird Stitch is 11 1/2″ x 11 1/2″.

Please note: you maintain the copyright to your photo and I will never, ever reproduce it for myself or anyone else. I will use a photo of it for marketing and custom example projects, though, please.

Price is based on one bird being stitched.
