There’s something wonderfully graphical about woodpeckers and especially so with this handsome fellow and his wee red floof.

The bird is embroidered and the background is printed directly onto a smooth, satiny fabric with a lovely sheen. A twinkly “étoile” thread is used in his wind so there’s a bit of sparkle in the black. The Bird Stitch comes framed and ready to hang in a black frame.

The frame is 10″ x 12″ and 1/2″ thick. The Bird Stitch is inset in the frame by 1/4″ and not covered by glass so you can see the stitching clearly. The actual Bird Stitch is 7 1/2″ x 9 9/16″.
